Day 17- 10 Sept 2008 wed

Once again we have presentation!! Its a 4 person to a group presentation regarding culture and Business Etiquette:) Me, Dina, Maurice and Ivy chose USA and it was quite fun with this presentation. Btw, Dina lost her voice!! Even teddy bear says that she is more wen rou. HA!

Actually USA's business etiquette is closer to Sg's business etiquette so its quite ez.

During lunch break, I ate the so called "zinger burger". Im getting hooked on it! Really nice, its less spicy with a little butter smell, you can get it at 3 burgers for 12 RMB( 2.40SGD?!). WHAT! its super worth it.

See my burger! Xiang Cui Ji Tui Han Bao!! (theres even prawn burger, drumsticks, wraps...)

This is the view of from my 7 storey high class room, See the badly polluted air? Btw, it also seemed like it was about to rain heavily as the wind howled...

You see the rubbish dump which is in the open! Utterly gross. When the litters piles up, they would burn them (incineration), that happened on my way to school and it is really bad for the health.

Btw, see this poor dead squirrel... (R.I.P).

Maurice and Wei Heng bought it last sunday while on the overhead bridge. The squirrel when I last saw it alive was struggling and trying its best to bite free from the cage. I even heard that the squirrel tried to run up the pipes but was caught again. Poor little thing. It was meant for the wild and it was illegal for the man who sold it without a license. Anyway, what do you expect. Its not like Sg.

In the evenings, i accompanied Dina to the night market. WOA! The wind was super strong. We wore jackets but our legs were still exposed. My hair was blown back like in those kind of Shampoo Ad. HA! Many stallowners were packing their stuffs probably due to the wind. Anyway, the waft of the foodstalls by the sideways were making us drip saliva. There were paos, tang baos(soup buns), fried vege cake, french fries, fried chicken, burgers, ma la noodles etc. we bought a kind of bao that they call qi shui bao(soft drink bun) and a burger which had a crispy outerlayer which stores the egg, ham and meat in it.

After that, we quickly went home as it was freezing. I predicted that the next day would rain. HAH! Btw, we saw a very antique kind of cotton candy trolley. It was manually operated by an old man and the cotton candy was delicious unlike sg's kind.
